‘abdallāh ibn mūsā. ‘Abdallāh is known only from a note left in a manuscript (national library, paris, Arabe 107, fol. 126v), which states that he was a deacon and that the manuscript belonged to him. The manuscript was copied by a Copt and completed on 16 Kānūn II 1696 of the Greeks/A.D. 1385, suggesting that the copy was made in Syria. It contains the Coptic Horologion (See canonical hours, book of) and the Song of the three young men in the furnace (fols. 1–132r), an anonymous commentary on John 20:17 (fols. 132–33), two pieces for the feast of the epiphany (fols. 134–62), and the story of Job (fols. 162–88v).
